1. Agreement
These Terms are a contract between you and CROCODATA sp. z o.o. ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using CleanFotos you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use CleanFotos on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and the Apple standard EULA where applicable. We keep all other rights.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, rent, resell or redistribute the app or its assets, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law (including the rights of a lawful user under Directive 2009/24/EC).
3. What the app does
CleanFotos analyses the photos on your device to group similar and duplicate images so you can delete the ones you do not want. All analysis runs on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and we have no servers holding them.
4. Deleting photos — read this
Deletion is permanent and it is your decision. CleanFotos never deletes anything on its own: it asks iOS to delete the photos you have selected, and iOS applies its own confirmation. Deleted photos normally move to your Recently Deleted album, where they can be restored for about 30 days, after which they are gone for good.
Back up your photos before a cleanup session. You are responsible for what you choose to delete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for photos you delete using the app, including where you delete them by mistake. Nothing in this paragraph limits liability we cannot lawfully exclude — see section 9.
If your library syncs with iCloud Photos or another cloud service, deleting on the device may also delete the copy in that service. Check your sync settings before you start.
5. CleanFotos Pro (in-app purchase)
CleanFotos Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that removes advertising. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
Apple is the merchant of record for this purchase. The exact price, including tax, is shown on Apple's purchase sheet before you confirm; that price prevails over any figure quoted elsewhere. Purchases restore across devices signed in to the same Apple ID via Settings → Restore purchases.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its published policy — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory rights are unaffected, and we will help where we can.
EU/EEA right of withdrawal. As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content. Because the Pro unlock takes effect immediately, by confirming the purchase you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once we have fully performed (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; art. 38 pkt 13 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). This does not affect your rights if the app is faulty or not as described.
6. Advertising
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we show a Google-certified consent message before any ad request; you can change or withdraw your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options. On iOS, personalised advertising also depends on Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Buying Pro removes ads entirely. Details: Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
- Use the app only on devices you own or control, and only on photos you are entitled to manage.
- Do not attempt to bypass the Pro unlock, tamper with purchase validation, or interfere with advertising.
- Do not use the app for anything unlawful.
We may end your licence if you breach these terms.
8. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 if you are in the EEA (or the lower age between 13 and 16 set by your Member State), at least 13 elsewhere, and in any case not under 13.
9. Warranties and liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will identify every duplicate, that its grouping will always match your judgement, or that it will be free of errors or interruptions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, profit or goodwill. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for CleanFotos Pro, or €50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intent or gross negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights — including the statutory guarantee of conformity for digital content under Directive (EU) 2019/770 — are unaffected.
10. Apple — additional terms
This agreement is between you and Crocodata only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for handling claims relating to the app, including product-liability, regulatory or intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and are not on any US Government prohibited-party list.
11. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these Terms. Material changes are announced on this page and, where appropriate, in the app. You may stop using CleanFotos at any time by deleting it; see Delete my data.
12. Governing law and complaints
Polish law applies, without depriving you as a consumer of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law where you habitually reside. Please raise complaints with us first at contact@crocodata.net. EU consumers may also contact the ECC-Net, or in Poland the local Rzecznik Konsumentów or UOKiK. The EU ODR platform closed on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
