Delete your Askra account and data

You can permanently delete your Askra account and the personal data we store for you. This page explains how.

Delete in the app (recommended)

Open the Askra app on your device.
Tap the Settings icon (gear).
Scroll down and tap Delete my data.
Confirm when prompted.

Deletion starts immediately. You will be signed out and returned to the welcome screen.

What we delete

When you use Delete my data, we permanently remove from our systems (Google Firebase):

Your profile (date of birth, sun sign, subscription status flag in our database)
Birth place, birth coordinates, and natal chart data (if you added a full chart)
All saved readings and questions in your history
Usage counters (weekly question limits, bonus questions)
Your Firebase authentication account (anonymous or Google-linked), when deletion succeeds

What we do not delete (or what may be kept elsewhere)

Google Play subscriptions — Deleting Askra data does not cancel an active Askra Cosmic subscription. Cancel in Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Askra.
Payment records — Google Play and RevenueCat may retain purchase and billing records under their own policies. We remove your in-app profile and entitlement flag.
Aggregated caches — Non-personal caches (for example daily horoscope text keyed by sun sign and date, shared across users) are not tied to your account and are not deleted.
AI processing logs — Content sent to Google Gemini for answers may be retained by Google under Google’s privacy policy for a limited period. We do not keep a separate copy after your Firestore data is deleted.
Advertising data — If you watched rewarded ads, Google AdMob may retain identifiers under Google’s policies.
Backups — Residual copies in encrypted backups may persist for up to 90 days before automatic purge, as allowed by law and our infrastructure provider.

Can’t access the app?

Email us at contact@crocodata.net from the address linked to your Google account (if you used Google sign-in), or describe your account (approximate sign-up date and birth date used in the app). We will verify ownership and delete your data within 30 days.
